Phases of the Night

The works in this collection range from the Biblical to the bawdy. Many of them treat the recurrent theme of the femme fatale - still a figure of great erotic and psychological appeal, although feminists would doubtless deride and descry it - culminating in the long dramatic monologue "The Lamentations of Lilith." Rounding off the collection are short poems, ranging from sonnets to haiku - even limericks. (WARNING: These latter contain adult material.)
