Pay the Price and Other Stories

A collection of short stories surrounding the times before, during and after the author's active service in the U.S. Navy as an enlisted sailor in the period of Vietnam. The writings include the perspectives of civilians, of sailors in the ship's engineering spaces under enemy fire, and the relief of their taking liberty in various ports.
