Staying in a charming seaside village in Cornwall, Jayne wants to explore with her mischievous dog, try the local food, relax with her knitting and finally find the time to start writing a novel. The one thing she doesn't expect is to stumble across a dead man. But discovering a body on the beach is only the start of Jayne's problems and her holiday gets even more peculiar when the corpse vanishes. Soon, Jayne finds herself mixed up in all kinds of intrigue in the quaint beachside community as she is determined to track down her missing dead man and prove that there really has been a murder in Mount's Bay. Accidental amateur sleuth Jayne, her misbehaving canine sidekick and the local Police Inspector work together to expose a baffling crime and find out 'whodunnit' in this small town by the sea.
