For most twelve-year-olds the prospect of joining a new school is pretty daunting, but for Sam Bentley it's terrifying.
Sam finds himself in 2015 by accident; having travelled in time from a future that has been devastated by the Great Surge, a weather event so vast that it wiped out eighty percent of the world's population in just twenty-four hours.
