These poems tell a story of a year and a half relationship where I was abused mentally, emotionally, sexually, physically, religiously, and financially. Every poem is a true testament of how I felt during this time, as well as real texts, events, and words spoken to me. Even though this book helped me heal, it can be triggering to read.
