What you want from life will not land in your lap. It will not happen without your agency. Getting what you want - and no doubt deserve - takes a willingness to fight and to roll with the punches. But every now and then one of those punches will land and it will knock you out. What happens next is the most important thing - do you stay down or do you get up and go again? Sometimes, if you have eyes to see it, you get a new perspective when you're lying on the canvas... - and the story of this book - began in Italy, where I lived out my youth. The plot thickened with a detour to Australia before I answered the call of the United Kingdom, where I've finally seen my dreams come true. Along the way, I've rolled with the punches and spent quite a lot of time on the canvas. But I kept getting back up - and I hope my story will inspire you to do the same.
