Oranges and Lemons: poems & prose in Bloomington, MN

This collection of poems and personal stories is a memoir, a letter, a manifested devotion to truth, an ode to the darkness within, and its equal counterpart. The choice I made years ago to bring light to my darkness has brought me through my own personal hell and back, through many efforts to dethrone my ego, allowing that place of riotousness to my higher self. That decision also gave birth to these poems. Before, I wore many masks, now I stand entirely naked, realizing this journey never ends.
I simply am human, a voice in the void of humanity.
Between the whispers of trees, the swiftness of a lucid dream, the connection to a lover and the great understanding between deeply entwined souls, there is always a darkness, something begging to be pulled into light, out from underneath.
Within these pages, I have pulled myself out of the darkness.
