Young Christian operatic tenor Gerald Christiansen is on a rocket ride to stardom after making his American debut, and dreams of one day singing at the Metropolitan Opera in New York City. But suddenly he senses that God is directing him on pilgrimage to Beckley, West Virginia where a life changing event will take place.God tells him that it is for his own good and the good of others, but he has no idea what this could possible mean. Gerald is apprehensive at first although he is assured that "I AM will be with you." What he learns will immediately affect the lives of 11 people. What will happen to his career? Will it change?
