When Trevor, who often wakes up from weird alien-abduction dreams, becomes involved with a beautiful young woman who maintains an air of mystery, he begins to suspect that she may be a government agent monitoring him and his circle of friends who share an interest in ufos. But when a ship he's dreaming he's in is actually shot down by the military, he learns that he's been an abductee since childhood and that government agencies will not tolerate crash survivors or escapees from deep underground bases. He then learns that hostile alien races are committed to preventing Earth's Ascension to membership in the galactic community. So is he hallucinating in a padded cell somewhere? Or is the universe in reality just a VR game? Or is all this actually happening around him?
