It was meant for academic purpose therefore views expressed herein do not represent the institution's but rather the researcher's. Questionnaire and focus group were the only techniques used to capture sufficient and effective information. The objectives of the study was; to probe the impact of oil shutdown as the main cause and other causes of inflation emanating from this; and to understand the effects of inflation on the economy as well as the business community.
