Ode to an L.A. Urn

Frank Apizio's life of mediocrity, his pride in his own lack of accomplishment, and his time-killing hobby of judging others, is one day halted by an obscure conversation with a wealthy socialite at a neighborhood dive bar. A five minute conversation that not only changes the course of his future forever, but forces him to question what evils the mind can possess and if one is every wholly in control of the shaping of one's own life. Frank discovers to right a wrong, he must succumb to the help of others and begin to trust in the human spirit, which is no easy task when spirits and trust seem to be perpetually shattering all around him. From school teachers to German tourists to the mafia. From schizophrenics to the Los Angeles Police Department to Mexican factory owners, Frank must decide who is friend and who is foe. Frank is a hardened man who lost innocence and faith many years ago, but now he wants innocence back. Or purity. Or redemption.
