Cerebral palsy can be caused by various factors, such as hemorrhages, lack of oxygen to the brain, trauma, infections, premature birth or severe neonatal jaundice. Malnutrition affects all the systems and organs of severely malnourished children. The aim of this manuscript was to assess nutritional status, analyze food consumption and describe factors that can influence nutritional status. It was a clinical case report, with a data collection and quantitative approach, using food consumption analysis, biochemical and nutritional tests as variants.
