This Collector's Edition of No Whiskey, No Tears includes additional poems, endorsements from other authors and artist, and illustrations. No Whiskey, No Tears is a collection of poems that explore emotions that we often try to hide and only share with those closest to us or after having some liquid courage. It also explores the courage needed to admit that you're not ok, and that you're trying to drown anger, grief, frustration, and more with "good times." No Whiskey, No Tears follows a young poet as he navigates his emotions, intentions, consequences, growth, and interactions with friends, lovers, and strangers through his nightlife. No Whiskey, No Tears is Stephen Sharpe's second compilation book of poetry and short stories. He started performing spoken word in 2008 and has been featured at venues across the United States. He has partnered with Barnes and Noble for their Local Author Showcase in the Bay Area, and he has teamed with The Maya Angelou Library and Literacy Center to increase interest in writing and literacy in high school students. Stephen has been profiled for his poetry and community activism in local newspapers. He likes to think that he's a "thicker book than most people have time to spend reading," so No Whiskey, No Tears is a glimpse into his mind, insights, and lessons learned.
