In this film, Deanna Durbin plays Jane Dana, the daughter of high school principal Oliver Dana. Hitherto ignored by men, Jane suddenly finds herself ardently courted by boy-next-door Don Webb and by the more worldly Richard Calvert. A series of misunderstandings leads to the demure Jane earning an unsavory "reputation."
