This sudsy romantic melodrama chronicles the long-distance difficulty faced by a rising American star and her husband, an overseas reporter whom she seldom sees. Matters become more complicated when the reporter's best friend, a wealthy gent who helped the star launch her career, admits his love for her and asks that she divorce her husband.
