New Earth: The Radiating Alps in Bloomington, MN

Karina has always had a nagging feeling that something about her husband's, Frank, origins didn't make sense. With their son's, Brandon, ninth birthday a day away, she planned to get to the bottom of things during their trip to Switzerland to meet his grandparents. However, their trip takes a dramatic turn after a solar event hits the plane(t) and the world around them starts to change dramatically. Having been separated due to an unforeseen kidnapping, Karina must travel across the country trying to find Brandon, meanwhile, he has met up with a peculiar trio of dwarves that need his help. And this is just the beginning of their grand adventure to find out what on (New) Earth is happening! With the appearance of deadly snow and ice monsters, a military facility located under the Swiss Alps conducting experiments on other life forms, and cold, bloodthirsty cannibals terrorizing survivors in their underground bunkers, there is barely enough time to breathe, so will they even have a moment to figure out Frank's origins?
