Vincent left home without a word and boarded a train at twenty-two years old, with the remainder of his family in Alma Vista, California. He didn't know if he, his six-year old sister, or his three-year old brother would come back alive. The disappearance of his mother and grandmother placed him on the hunt for a possible street address over 3,000 miles away from everything he knew. Joining him in his booth are two strangers: a woman running from the different stories trying to define her direction, and a former refugee from a nation of perpetual genocide. Together, their fates are placed in the hands of their temporary companions on an impossible voyage of survival and love.
