Nervvy Nelly, an anxious young punk rocker, witnesses a friendly alien named Cosmo crash-land to Earth in a freak accident. Eager for a sense of purpose in his uncertain life, he vows to help Cosmo return home. Unfortunately, this new responsibility exacerbates the tension between himself and Brutalia, the fame-hungry frontwoman of his band who will stop at nothing to win the upcoming Battle of the Bands competition. As Nelly juggles these two starkly different lives, he is forced to reevaluate his dearest values.
