Necessary Sacrifice

Chocolate complected, nerd intelligent, and ambitious; Saudia is not the typical Detroit diva. She was raised by her single father, Gerald, and his best friend Mya. Together they raised a principled queen that steers clear of men that line their pockets through the most destructive means possible. Racona on the other hand is your typical Detroit money man. He's well connected, thorough and as arrogant as a chart topping rapper. However, Saudia is unimpressed with the tangible things that excite shallow sistahs, i.e., money, jewelry, and cars. Racona's mind is what attracts Saudia to him, and has her considering going against her "No Hustler" dating rule. But Racona wouldn't be the first man to walk away from a million dollar grind, to ensure they remain a constant presence in Saudia's life. Through their union, people and perils from Gerald's past resurface; forcing him to make the necessary sacrifices parents make to ensure the safety of their offspring.
