Investigative journalist Stephen Princeton arrives in Nautical Cove to salvage what is left of his life and career. Not one to stay idle, he begins stirring up trouble when a recent cold case catches his eye. The missing-person investigation of Mary Caifano, a popular high schooler, doesn't add up. Even though local police have labeled her a runaway, Princeton is determined to uncover what really happened. Beautiful and ambitious, the young student just doesn't fit the profile of runaway.
