My Four Wars

To me, the absolute excitement we see in a child stems from learning. There are so many things out there to stimulate the mind. Some good. Some not so good. But they all teach. Life is never what you wholly anticipate. It is full of tests, later called experiences. I grew up in an environment no one expected me to succeed but wouldn't have doubted the prospect. This autobiography is a testament to my inner child; my experiences. At times, things were simple, others difficult, still other times...deadly. I am not a book writer. I wrote to relieve the stress of the physicality of three wars, and one emotional. I may have spent five years in combat zones but the emotional ride feels like an eternity. Even in its mildest form, things are remembered, as the Veterans Administration likes to put it, at times you don't want them to. Personal relations are hurt but fortunately for me, my family is always there.
