The aim of this research was to determine the morphological profile and its impact on the development of certain physical qualities. Analysis showed that the group's training program led to a significant improvement in performance in terms of the physical qualities involved. The greatest percentage improvement was observed in the explosive strength of the lower limbs (vertical expansion).Principal component analysis revealed three factors, in order of importance, which appear to determine the goalkeeper's sporting success: - morphological cues, span and length of thoracic and pelvic limbs and extremities, relatively high weight and height;- physical qualities such as speed and, to a lesser extent, endurance;- good muscle mass.This assessment of soccer goalkeepers is the first step in determining morpho-biometric and physical qualities.
