Moods, Vol. 2

Recorded the same two days as , this trio/quartet outing by guitarist , fluegelhornist , bassist , and (on two of the ten songs) keyboardist has a bit more energy than the first volume and more variations in tempos and moods. All of the music except for 's and the second take of are originals by group members. The attractive group sound, which often has the three main musicians functioning as equals, is a major plus throughout this generally successful set. ~ Scott Yanow
