When interstellar explorers Jeff and Sally land on what they think is an unclaimed world, they quickly discover they're late to the party. The planet's actual resident-a laid-back, well-read, and surprisingly hospitable "monster" named Bob-sets the record straight. From scaring off pint-sized flag planters to time-traveling for profit, the duo find themselves entangled in a bizarre, hilarious, and unexpectedly lucrative adventure. Along the way, they befriend barbecue-loving Gorn, sarcastic Andorians, and a tentacled James Cagney impersonator-all while learning that sometimes, the best way to conquer a world... is to just ask nicely.
