Scores of young men and women make a beeline to Mumbai, the mecca of opportunities, in search of jobs and livelihood. But most of them end up in rat traps, and seldom a few make it to the golden enclaves. This is the representative story of a ripe old man of 16 who embarks on such a journey, of his trials and tribulations, of the muddied waters, the twists and turns and finally his redemption.
