Most parents would write down in your baby book about whom the president was at the time, the price of gasoline, or whether or not your siblings were happy about your arrival. I get to remember my birth as bringing destruction to people hundreds, and even thousands of miles away. Mist and Ashes is a story about consequence and sacrifice from the view of Claire Parson. Thanks to a new scientific fertility treatment, she was conceived and imbedded with abilities. As Claire meets her match in this life, the future of the parent's world becomes unclear. Now they all must fight for answers and maybe a cure before its too late.
