Mind's Eye

With the death of his wife and five of his friends on his conscience, William Wootten retraces their lives over thirty years since student days in Bristol. Now blinded by disease, he travels with them in his mind's eye from the hedonism of the seventies, through the IRA bombing campaign in London, to success in the more pragmatic nineties. With some bad behaviour on the way, the journey continues through their relationships and secrets to the South of France and finally to the horrific climax in Thailand's Boxing Day Tsunami. If Love and Loss are its main themes, it is also a story about the power of Redemption.
