Metal and Marble

I don't remember much about my childhood, but that moment is as clear as any picture. When it happened I was focused on the match and the candle, but now, whenever I think back to it, my attention is solely on my hand. It was the last time I would ever see any part of my body. Now, you may be thinking, "How are you writing this if you don't have your body?" and to that I say, sure, I got a new body, made one in fact, and I'll get to that later, but that first one, the original body that I had, was mine.
