Whoever drinks a Mermaid's blood is granted eternal youth and immortality. The pirate Aashirya seeks a Mermaid to acquire these gifts, but her efforts lead her to being mortally wounded. At the care of the Mermaid Beatrix, Aashirya reflects on her life as a pirate.
