Our iconic 1980 Blue Rock Sweater was so good, we had to bring it back twice - once for the launch of our original L.L.Bean Signature line, and again this season. Made of 100% Shetland wool knit that's incredibly soft and toasty warm without feeling too heavy or bulky.
- Slightly Fitted: Relaxed through the chest and sleeve, with a slightly slimmer waist.
- Originally inspired by Norwegian sweaters and knit from soft, substantial 100% wool, our 1980 Blue Rock Sweater was an instant classic. We reinterpreted it (and renamed it) with a more modern fit during the launch of our L.L.Bean Signature line in 2010, while making sure to keep the same authentic details as the original. Turns out we love it just as much now as we always have--proving that some things truly never go out of style.
- Woolen-spun knit feels lighter and less dense, while retaining its softness and warmth.
- Classic jacquard knit is a variation of a traditional bird's-eye pattern.
- Ribbed neck, cuffs and hem.
