Memories from an African Childhood

We are one world and one people. Regardless of where in the world a child grows up, many experience similar feelings and go through the same rites of passage during their childhood. We all experience joy and sorrow, excel in some ways and struggle in others. When writing "Memories from an African Childhood", it quickly became evident that no matter where you are from, there was more that made us similar than there was that made us different.
