This wooden kids study desk and chair set gathers a workspace, a display board and a storage cabinet into one piece of furniture. The desk measures 35.5 in wide with the writing surface 24 in from the floor, and the matching chair seats a child at 15.5 in, proportions suited to children 3 years and older.Above the desktop, 2 dividers split the shelf so books and folders stand upright, while the back panel carries a cork bulletin board for pinning artwork and notes alongside a magnetic whiteboard for spelling practice and reminders. Below, an enclosed cabinet closes with a plastic door catch on durable hinges, which keeps toys and supplies out of sight when the room needs to look tidy.Engineered wood panels and pine wood give the set its strength, with the desktop rated for up to 200 lbs and the chair for up to 110 lbs. Surfaces are finished smooth and wipe clean after craft sessions, and the neutral color suits a bedroom, playroom or study corner. It arrives flat with instructions, and once built it handles homework, painting and quiet reading with equal ease.
