At 64 inches tall this is a wine bar that works vertically, which is exactly what a small kitchen needs. Twenty-four bottles lie in the racks, nine stemmed glasses hang by the base and six cups sit alongside, all in a footprint of 30 by 19 inches. The wide countertop is left free for actually pouring, or for the coffee machine that increasingly shares the space.Load ratings are set by shelf rather than averaged, which tells you how to pack it: 175 pounds on the countertop, 110 pounds on the bottom shelf for cases and heavy appliances, and 22 pounds each on the top and middle shelves for glassware and lighter stock. Raised edges run along the top shelves so nothing walks off the front when a door closes hard. Two Ac outlets and two Usb ports are built into the frame on a 4.9 foot cord, so the corkscrew charger, the blender or a phone all draw power without trailing leads. The industrial wood-grain finish suits a kitchen or a dining room equally, assembly comes with detailed instructions, and the smooth surface wipes clean with a damp cloth.
