Laundry is a problem of logistics as much as washing. Clothes come out of the dryer warm and unwrinkled, then sit in a basket until they are neither. This rolling cart solves the gap between the machine and the closet by giving the clothes somewhere to go immediately: 40 in of hanging clearance below the rod, two storage baskets below, and wheels underneath the whole thing. The frame is metal tubing with Pp components, rated to 80 lbs overall, which is enough for a full load hanging wet plus two baskets of folded items underneath. Each basket measures 23.5 in by 11 in by 3.5 in inside, a shape that suits folded towels and stacked shirts better than a deep hamper where everything ends up compressed at the bottom. Small touches earn their keep: anti-falling beads at the ends of the rod stop hangers from sliding off when the cart turns a corner, and hooks along the frame take the bag, belt, or scarf that has nowhere else to sit.
