Everything a young student needs stays within arm's reach at this kids study desk and chair set. The desk runs 37 in wide and stands 30 in tall, with a 23.5 in by 12 in writing surface edged by a raised lip that stops pencils from rolling onto the floor.Open shelving frames both ends of the desk so picture books and school folders stand upright and visible instead of stacking into a pile. A removable fabric bin measuring 14 in by 11.5 in slots into the frame for soft toys and loose supplies, lifting out in one motion at tidy-up time, and a shallow plastic drawer 15 in wide holds pencils, erasers and rulers under the top.The matching chair seats a child 9.5 in off the floor with a back shaped for comfortable posture, and it slides neatly under the desk when the work is done. Engineered wood panels and a reinforced crossbar keep the frame steady, with the desktop rated for 44 lbs and the chair for 110 lbs. Rounded corners and a wipe-clean finish make it a practical choice for children 3 years and older in a bedroom, playroom or homework corner.
