Storage is the quiet advantage of this full-size platform bed. Two drawers roll out from beneath the frame, each with a 35 x 15 x 4.5 in interior that swallows folded sweaters, spare bedding, or off-season clothes, and because the drawers can be installed on the left or the right, the bed works whether it sits in a corner, against a window, or between two nightstands. The frame is built from solid wood with eight plywood slats and a reliable center support bar, holding up to 300 lbs so a full mattress around 8 in thick can rest directly on the platform with no box spring. An embedded design recesses the mattress slightly into the frame, keeping it from drifting toward the edges as the bed is used night after night. Smooth rolling wheels make the drawers effortless to open, and built-in stoppers prevent them from sliding too far under the bed where they would be hard to reach. At 78.5 x 57 x 16 in, the clean white frame keeps a low profile that suits a guest room, a teenager's bedroom.
