Full-size beds ask a lot of a smaller bedroom, so this frame gives something back. Two drawers slide out from beneath the mattress, each with a 35.5 x 15 x 5 in interior, and they can be mounted on the left or right side depending on which way the room opens. Built-in stoppers keep them from rolling too far under the frame, so the handles stay easy to reach.above the drawers, the platform rests on eight plywood slats with solid wood support legs, holding up to 300 lbs without a box spring. The bed surface measures 77.5 x 54.5 in and is embedded slightly into the frame, which stops a mattress up to 6 in thick from creeping sideways over time.A modern headboard and a 23 in footboard with curved edges bracket the bed, combining a tidy look with a practical edge that keeps blankets from sliding off. Finished in gray and measuring 82.5 x 56.5 x 35.5 in overall, the frame suits a teenager's room, a shared bedroom, or a guest room that needs storage more than it needs floor space. Assembly is required.
