Some guests are six feet tall, and the usual folding cot ends at their ankles. This rollaway stretches the sleep surface to a generous 78.5 x 31 in, then pads it with a 4 in high-density memory foam mattress that cradles shoulders and hips instead of letting them find the frame. Beneath the foam, fifteen solid birch slats span a rustproof steel tube frame, spreading weight evenly the way a fixed platform bed does, with a 265 lb support rating. Thoughtful details keep the night tidy: anti-falling bars and hook-and-loop fasteners pin the mattress in place, anti-slip foot pads steady the black frame on hard floors, and the beige cover zips off for the washing machine once the visit ends. At 15 in tall, the bed sits at an easy height for climbing in and out, and it disappears as gracefully as it appears. Fold the frame around its own mattress, secure the fasteners, and the whole bed becomes an upright 31 x 13 x 44 in tower rolling on two locking and two swiveling wheels.
