Working from home tends to mean working from a desk that was never designed for it. This one is. The tabletop runs 42 in wide and 19.5 in deep with a pull-out keyboard tray underneath, so the keyboard drops 4 in below the writing surface and leaves the full top free for paperwork, a second screen or a coffee that is not about to be knocked over. The tray itself measures 25 in x 12 in and sits 24 in from the floor, which is a comfortable typing height for most people. Power is the part most desks forget. Two 125V Ac outlets sit in the frame alongside a Usb and a Type-c port rated to 12W, all running from a single 5 ft cord, so a monitor, a desk lamp, a phone and a pair of earbuds can be live at once without a strip snaking across the floor. Three drawers, each 15 in x 10.5 in x 4 in inside, ride on metal slides and take the files, stationery and headsets that otherwise colonise the desktop. Underneath, a reinforced crossbar braces the metal legs against sway and non-slip foot pads keep the desk planted on hard floors. The engineered wood, Mdf and metal build carries 155 lbs on the top and up to 275 lbs overall. Assembly is required and a guide is included.
