The grill is never quite where you want it, the drinks are never quite where the guests are, and a cabinet on wheels fixes both. Four universal wheels carry this 37.5 in unit from the kitchen door to the far end of the deck, and two of them lock, so once it arrives it stays put rather than rolling away the moment you lean on the top. That top is acacia wood measuring 35.5 by 21 in and rated for 180 lbs, which means a portable grill, a cast iron dutch oven or a full tray of drinks is well inside its limits. Below it, the storage is split between a 31.5 by 21 by 9.5 in open compartment for the things you reach for constantly and a two-door cabinet that holds the rest out of sight, each section rated to 90 lbs. Round knobs and flexible hinges open the doors easily, and snap-fit closures hold them shut so nothing spills out mid-journey. Hand-woven, sun-protective Pe rattan over a robust metal frame gives the cabinet both its look and its stability.
