Stackable is the feature worth paying attention to here. A shoe rack that stacks means the same purchase works in a closet where the vertical space is limited and in an entryway where it is not, and it means a second unit added later doubles the capacity in the same floor area rather than needing a second wall. The rack measures 27.5 in wide by 9.8 in deep and stands 26.9 in tall across four tiers. That depth is unusually shallow, which is what lets it sit inside a standard closet without fouling the door or the hanging clothes above it. Each tier carries up to 22 lb with a total static capacity of 88 lb across the unit.Bamboo is the right choice for a rack that may end up in a closet, because it does not carry the smell that treated timber and some plastics do in an enclosed space, and it copes with the damp of shoes brought in from outside. At 6.2 lb assembled the rack is light enough to lift with one hand fully loaded, which matters when it needs to come out of a closet for cleaning or to be repositioned entirely.
