Born in South Korea, Shina Choi is currently based in the Bay Area, California. Her primary painting style is abstraction, with her greatest inspiration coming from nature. Her goal with her art is to depict the spatial feeling of large landscapes in an abstract way, while reinterpreting natural elements including light, sky, mountains, trees, flowers, oceans, and clouds in simple colors and shapes.
