Mark of the Djinn: A Young Adult Urban Fantasy

Samira doesn't know why she can manipulate the air around her. It's just something she can do. And it makes picking pockets a piece of cake. Snarky and irreverent, Sam doesn't give much of a damn for anyone except her next rich target. But then she runs into trouble, the serious kind, and has to be rescued by a charming prince, no less. Dhav doesn't like Sam in the least, and he certainly doesn't trust her. And that's even before the nightmare begins. Sam discovers her power comes from a source as old as the desert; an ancient magical race of djinn which have long since vanished. But a dark enemy from Dhav's past is determined to resurrect their power and harness it for himself. If he does, he'll be unstoppable. Thief and prince are forced to work together to prevent evil from rising. The only question is, can Sam bear to be so close to a man who thinks she's nothing but trouble?
