This United States Marine Corps USMC manual, Marine Corps Reference Publication MCRP 7-20B.5 (Formerly MCRP 8-10B.6) Marine Corps Water Survival October 2021, provides Marine Corps water survival techniques, procedures, and training standards. This publication also teaches Marines to cross water obstacles and perform water rescues correctly and safely. This publication is the foundation for teaching Marines correct water survival techniques and procedures that are used throughout the Marine Corps Water Survival Program (MCWSPM). Once an individual or a unit has completed the MCWSPM, this publication can be used as a refresher course before water operations.
