Paul Ray Sherman served his generation by the counsel of God. And younger generations as well. His spiritual roots were in the classical Pentecostal culture of the early 20th century, yet he was able to interact comfortably with a wide spectrum of Christians in later years: multi-denominational charismatics, exuberant long-haired Jesus Freaks, Americans, Mexicans, Haitians.
