In a world where the Inquisition rules all of Europe with an iron fist, America is completely taken over by the witches of Salem and persecuted witches from all around the world, creating their own utopia. For 300 years, the Inquisition and the witches of America have fought for world supremacy, using advanced technology and gruesome warfare, which has finally led them to a stalemate. However, war is rumored to return once again when Arturo Mattei, a young former inventor turned missionary, is caught in the middle of this religious war because of an invention he regrets creating.
