Aijaz Ubaid is a well known author and poet and an Urdu language enthusiast whose contribution to Urdu computing, language and Urdu literature and Urdu journalism are well known. This book "Maiel Ba-karam Ratein (incline to kindness Nights)" is a Novelette of Aijaz Ubaid that narrates a story of various generations during the Indian Independence, the partition of India and Pakistan and then split of Pakistan with emergence of Bangladesh. This novelette might be regarded as an extension of Qurratul Ain Hyder's epic novel "Aag Ka Darya".
