Mae Jaxon and the Oracle's Eyes

Since she was nine, Mae Jaxon has wanted nothing more than to go out on an adventure, much like the ones she read in her books growing up, but having an over-protective and paranoid father doesn't much help that. So she hopes of dreaming of one day sailing river, outwitting swamp monsters, soaring in the air with a single bedsheet, much like her Papa. But her dreams are not filled with air-flying adventures, rather that of nightmares and tortures. She dreams of a wretched hooded man for ten years straight and when the wretched hooded man comes, it is up to her to take the necessary action of revenge. She treks across a world she's never seen before with people she's never met before, all to get the sacred Ivory Blade, the only weapon that can kill the unkillable and slay the unslayable. In this grand adventure, we slowly see a change in Mae. Is she truly the hero she says she is? Or is she becoming the very thing she set out to destroy. Throw in strange powers, glowing eyes, Nori'el, visions and dreams coming to life and a young girl who can see what is to come, and you have a recipe for bad things to come.
