Macaroni 'n' Jesus: A Story of Love, Laughter and Leftovers

Growing up somewhere in the middle of 14 kids "ain't no picnic." With older teenagers, mischievous brothers, younger "charges" and, so it seems, always a new "little one", how does a young girl find out who she is or where she belongs? As Cecelia, a young girl from a large Catholic family living in World War II era Toronto, shares love, laughter and leftovers with her larger than life family, Mom and Dad are fighting their own war at home battling poverty, polio and puberty. This true to life tale is the childhood story of author Cecelia Marigold Houston-Saxon and her thirteen siblings and is written with warmth, compassion and a sense of humour.
