Luna and the Moon

Luna is an only child born into a poor household, on a small island in the middle of the ocean, where the days are hot and the nights are cool. What Luna lacks in material things, her family more than make up for in love and kindness. There are no other children on the island, and when Luna was born, she was welcomed to the village as a gift from above. Luna's life has been guided-through her childhood-by her one constant playmate, forming a bond that will last a lifetime.
